This policy applies to products sold by Amaphitha Engineering Services (Pty) Ltd, trading as Jobe Gas Energy Solutions (“Jobe Gas”, “we”, “us” or “our”).

  1. DELIVERY AREAS

Appliances, accessories and eligible non-hazardous products may be delivered throughout South Africa.

LPG cylinders and filled gas products are not available for national courier delivery. LPG cylinder delivery is limited to qualifying areas within Durban and normally takes place on weekdays.

LPG installation services are available within KwaZulu-Natal by prior arrangement and subject to an accepted quotation.

  1. DELIVERY CHARGES

Delivery charges depend on the product, destination, order size, weight and selected delivery method.

Applicable delivery charges will be displayed at checkout, included in a quotation or communicated to the customer before the order is finalised.

Remote-area, oversized, heavy or special-handling charges may apply. If the website cannot calculate the correct delivery charge, Jobe Gas will contact the customer before dispatching the order.

  1. THIRD-PARTY DELIVERY PROVIDERS

National deliveries are arranged through third-party logistics providers.

Jobe Gas currently uses Bob Go to book and manage shipments, while parcels may be physically collected and delivered by The Courier Guy or another suitable courier partner.

To fulfil a delivery, we may share the customer’s name, delivery address, telephone number, email address and relevant order information with Bob Go and the appointed courier. This information will be shared only as reasonably necessary to book, process, track and complete the delivery, in accordance with our Privacy and POPIA Policy.

Once an order has been handed to the appointed courier, delivery is subject to the courier’s operating routes, schedules, service areas and service limitations.

Jobe Gas will remain the customer’s point of contact for orders placed directly through us and will provide reasonable assistance with delayed, lost or damaged deliveries.

The use of Bob Go or a third-party courier does not remove or limit any responsibility or consumer right that applies under South African law.

  1. PROCESSING TIMES

Orders are processed after payment has been confirmed and stock availability has been verified.

Standard stocked products are ordinarily prepared for dispatch within one to three business days.

Special-order, supplier-stocked, oversized or backordered products may take longer. The expected lead time will be communicated to the customer where reasonably possible.

Orders are not ordinarily dispatched on weekends or South African public holidays.

  1. ESTIMATED DELIVERY TIMES

Estimated delivery periods after dispatch are:

• Major urban areas: approximately two to five business days;
• Regional or outlying areas: approximately three to seven business days; and
• Remote areas or special freight: approximately five to ten business days.

These delivery periods are estimates and not guaranteed delivery dates.

Delays may arise from courier operations, weather, road conditions, strikes, supplier delays, peak-season volumes, incorrect delivery details or other circumstances outside our reasonable control.

  1. TRACKING

Once a shipment has been booked, tracking information from Bob Go or the appointed courier will be sent to the email address or telephone number provided with the order.

Tracking updates are supplied by third-party delivery providers and may not always reflect changes immediately.

Customers should contact Jobe Gas if an order has not arrived within a reasonable period after the estimated delivery date.

  1. CUSTOMER RESPONSIBILITIES

The customer must provide:

• a complete and accurate physical delivery address;
• the correct postal code and contact number;
• any estate, complex, security or access instructions; and
• an authorised person to receive the delivery.

Jobe Gas is not responsible for delays caused by incorrect or incomplete information supplied by the customer.

If a delivery cannot be completed because the address is incorrect, access is denied, no authorised person is available or another circumstance within the customer’s control prevents delivery, reasonable redelivery, return or storage charges may apply.

Customers should notify Jobe Gas of an incorrect delivery address as soon as possible. An address may not be changeable after the parcel has been dispatched, and any courier rerouting charge may be payable by the customer.

  1. RECEIVING AND INSPECTING ORDERS

Before accepting or signing for a delivery, the customer should inspect the outer packaging for visible damage.

Any visible damage should be noted with the courier where reasonably possible. The customer should take photographs and notify Jobe Gas promptly if an item is damaged, missing or incorrect.

Courier damage, missing items or incorrect deliveries should preferably be reported within 48 hours after delivery to help us submit a courier claim.

The 48-hour reporting request does not remove or limit any statutory consumer right that applies for a longer period.

Customers should keep the product, its original packaging, shipping label and all accessories while a delivery claim is being investigated.

  1. RISK AND DELIVERY

Delivery is complete when the goods are delivered to the address nominated by the customer and accepted by the customer or an authorised person, subject to applicable law.

If the customer independently appoints a courier not offered or arranged by Jobe Gas, risk may pass when the goods are handed to that courier, to the extent permitted by law.

  1. LPG CYLINDER DELIVERY

LPG cylinder delivery is available only in qualifying areas within Durban, on weekdays, subject to stock, route capacity, access and safety requirements.

LPG cylinders and filled gas products cannot be sent through Bob Go, The Courier Guy or an ordinary national parcel courier.

The customer must ensure that:

• the delivery location is safe and accessible;
• an authorised adult is available to receive the cylinder;
• an eligible empty cylinder is available where the order is based on an exchange; and
• the cylinder can be stored and used lawfully and safely.

Filled LPG cylinders may not be left unattended at the delivery address.

Jobe Gas may refuse a delivery or exchange where access is unsafe, the proposed storage is clearly hazardous or the cylinder presented for exchange is unsuitable, incompatible, unlawfully filled or unsafe.

Additional charges may apply where a cylinder delivery cannot be completed because of incorrect information, denied access, the customer’s absence or an unsuitable exchange cylinder.

  1. INSTALLATION SERVICES

Product delivery does not automatically include installation unless installation is expressly included in the product description, checkout confirmation or written quotation.

Installation services are limited to KwaZulu-Natal and must be scheduled separately.

Installation dates are subject to team availability, travel requirements, site readiness, stock availability and safe working conditions.

The delivery of an appliance does not represent confirmation that the customer’s premises are suitable or compliant for installation. Suitability may only be confirmed following an appropriate assessment.

  1. COLLECTIONS

Collection may be offered by prior arrangement.

Customers must wait for confirmation that an order is ready before travelling to collect it.

Proof of purchase and reasonable identification may be required before an order is released.

LPG cylinders must be transported upright, properly secured and in accordance with applicable safety requirements.

  1. DELAYED OR LOST DELIVERIES

If tracking indicates that a delivery has been delayed, Jobe Gas will provide reasonable assistance and, where necessary, raise an enquiry with Bob Go or the appointed courier.

If an order is confirmed as lost in transit, Jobe Gas will arrange an appropriate replacement or refund, subject to applicable law and the outcome of the courier investigation.

Jobe Gas is not responsible for a loss caused by an incorrect address supplied by the customer or an instruction authorising the courier to leave goods unattended, except where applicable law provides otherwise.

  1. DAMAGED DELIVERIES

If a product is damaged during delivery, the customer should contact Jobe Gas promptly and provide:

• the order or invoice number;
• photographs of the outer packaging;
• photographs of the shipping label;
• photographs or video of the damaged product; and
• the product’s model and serial number, where applicable.

Customers should not install or use visibly damaged gas appliances or equipment until Jobe Gas or the relevant supplier has provided appropriate guidance.

Where the product was damaged before or during delivery, Jobe Gas will arrange an appropriate remedy in accordance with our Returns Policy and applicable law.

  1. INTERNATIONAL DELIVERY

Jobe Gas currently delivers only within South Africa unless a separate written arrangement is made.
